West Ham Target Bold January Loan Move for Real Madrid’s Endrick

West Ham United are reportedly planning an ambitious January loan move for Real Madrid prodigy Endrick, according to journalist Graeme Bailey of Hammers News.

The Hammers were among the Premier League’s most active clubs in the summer transfer window, adding Kyle Walker-Peters, El Hadji Malick Diouf, Callum Wilson, Mateus Fernandes, Mads Hermansen, Igor Julio, and Soungoutou Magassa to their ranks.

Despite that investment, a disappointing start to the season led to Graham Potter’s dismissal by club owner David Sullivan. Former Wolves and Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo has since taken charge and is said to be prioritising a new striker in January.

Endrick Loan Interest

Endrick joined Real Madrid from Brazilian side Palmeiras in a £62 million deal as a 17-year-old but has found it difficult to establish himself in the first team, especially with Kylian Mbappe in sensational form as Madrid’s main striker.

The 19-year-old has also spent much of this season sidelined with an injury sustained over the summer. However, reports from Spain suggest that Madrid boss Xabi Alonso is open to sending him out on loan to gain regular playing time.

West Ham have been admirers of the young forward since his move to Europe two years ago, and the east London side are once again among the clubs monitoring his situation ahead of the winter window.

Graeme Bailey revealed:

“West Ham have made several attempts to sign Endrick. They were in a strong position last January had a loan been approved. They even enquired when he first arrived in Madrid, in case he was available.”

He added:

“Endrick was open to the idea of a loan at the time, but his focus was always on making it at Madrid. Now that things haven’t fully clicked, West Ham remain interested — and if Madrid sanction a loan, they’re definitely in the running.”

Striker Situation at West Ham

So far this season, Nuno has rotated between Niclas Füllkrug and Callum Wilson up front, but neither has cemented their place as the starting No. 9. Jarrod Bowen, meanwhile, has thrived on the right flank but is most effective playing wide rather than through the middle.

Bringing in Endrick would not only add a clinical finisher with huge potential but also generate excitement among fans — pairing West Ham’s attacking ambitions with one of world football’s most promising young stars.
