Speaking exclusively to Everton News, transfer insider Graeme Bailey revealed that Moyes has his eye on Joshua Zirkzee of Manchester United. However, there could be a major obstacle to any potential deal.

“Joshua Zirkzee needs to move — that has been made clear to him by Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman,” Bailey explained.
“If he wants to go to the World Cup, he has to be playing regularly.

There’s interest from clubs across Europe and some in England — Everton are one of them.
It’s something he might consider, but can Everton guarantee him the game time he’s looking for? That’s uncertain.”

Ronald Koeman Urges Zirkzee to Seek Regular Minutes

Zirkzee has yet to start a game for Manchester United this season, managing just 74 minutes as a substitute. That lack of playing time has not gone unnoticed by Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman, who made it clear that both Zirkzee and Bryan Brobbey risk missing out on international selection.

“I don’t think they’re playing at all,” Koeman told Voetbal Primeur.
“If they start getting more minutes, they’ll still be options for us — but we’re also looking at other players.”

With the World Cup in the United States next summer fast approaching, Zirkzee may have no choice but to leave Old Trafford in January if he wants to secure his spot in the Dutch squad — and Everton could be one of his escape routes.
