DONE DEAL — Reliable Club insider confirm Kyril Luois Dreyfus yet again leave Transfer rivals in dust as it is confirmed “Deal Done” ahead of January transfer window Amid Monster recruitment to Stadium of Light

Reports earlier this week from Calciomercato suggested that Sunderland hold an advantage over Brentford in the pursuit of AC Milan striker Santiago Giménez ahead of the January transfer window.

Two days ago, Sport Mediaset revealed that the Black Cats have already made contact with the 24-year-old’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, and are exploring the option of a loan move.

On Thursday, TuttoMercatoWeb added that Milan are keen to offload the forward in January and are open to a loan deal that includes a conditional obligation to buy.

According to La Repubblica, via MilanNews24, Giménez is expected to leave San Siro, with his departure becoming increasingly likely.

Despite recording just one goal and two assists in 11 appearances this season, his lack of form hasn’t discouraged Sunderland. The English club have moved decisively and reportedly have a “very serious intention” to bring him in. Régis Le Bris’ side are said to be preparing an offer of around €30 million for the upcoming window, even though earlier reports claimed they initially preferred a loan.

Milan are pleased with the proposed fee, and MilanNews24 confirm the club would accept it. They report: “The sum offered satisfies the management, who consider it adequate to avoid capital losses and, above all, essential to raise the funds needed to unlock the incoming transfer market for the new centre-forward. Therefore, from the club’s perspective, the deal is virtually done.”

The offer is even described as a “monster bid.”

However, Giménez himself is hesitant about joining Sunderland. He previously rejected a move to Nottingham Forest, and his doubts pose a significant obstacle for the Black Cats.

The Mexican forward is taking time to assess Sunderland’s project before making his final decision. The club are willing to wait—though not indefinitely.

Ultimately, Giménez must be convinced for the January transfer to happen.
