The club confirmed they have responded to supporter concerns by reducing ticket prices again ahead of the fixture. Forest face the Danish side at 8pm, with Vítor Pereira’s team hoping to secure a strong first-leg result before travelling to Denmark for the return match next week.
Earlier this week, the Reds announced an initial £10 reduction after poor ticket sales and criticism from fans. The original prices for the match had ranged from £50 to £70. However, many supporters argued online that the new prices were still too expensive, and by Wednesday morning a large number of seats were still unsold.
In response, Forest introduced a further price cut. Adult tickets are now available for £15 to £30 for season card holders and MyForest members. Senior tickets have been reduced to between £12 and £25, youth tickets range from £10 to £20, while children can attend for £5 to £15. Fans who had already bought tickets at the earlier, higher price will be refunded the difference.
In a statement explaining the decision, the club said it had taken on board the concerns raised by supporters and remained committed to keeping matchday prices accessible for fans of all ages.
Forest also emphasized the importance of creating a strong atmosphere at the City Ground. The club noted that European nights under the lights are always special and expressed a desire to see the stadium packed, echoing head coach Vítor Pereira’s view that supporters can make a crucial difference to the outcome of matches.
Forest have already faced Midtjylland once this season. During the Europa League league phase, the Danish side claimed a 3-2 victory at the City Ground when Ange Postecoglou was still in charge.
Postecoglou’s time at the club proved short-lived, lasting only 39 days after replacing Nuno Espírito Santo. His successor, Sean Dyche, also had a brief spell, departing after just 114 days.
Now Pereira has taken charge and faces the challenge of guiding Forest through a difficult Premier League survival battle while also managing the club’s return to European competition for the first time in 30 years. Despite domestic struggles, Forest remain determined to make a strong run in the Europa League.
