The response on the pitch against Millwall was immediate. After falling behind, Blackburn staged an impressive comeback thanks to two quick goals from Mathias Jørgensen within five minutes. The turnaround marked the first time this season that Rovers had come from behind to win an away match.
McLoughlin acknowledged the difficulty of playing at Millwall, a team pushing for promotion, but praised the character shown by his side. Despite conceding against the run of play, Blackburn remained confident and eventually earned the victory they felt their performance deserved.
Next up, Rovers will face Middlesbrough F.C. before the international break. McLoughlin stressed that consistency will be crucial, reminding supporters that one result does not define the team.
