Ipswich Town Goalkeeper Aro Muric Joins Sassuolo on Season-Long Loan
Ipswich Town shot-stopper Aro Muric has completed a loan move to newly-promoted Serie A side Sassuolo for the 2025/26 season.
The 26-year-old Kosovo international joined Town from Burnley last summer in a deal worth an initial £8 million. However, his first season at Portman Road proved challenging. He lost his starting spot midway through a difficult Premier League campaign that ended in relegation. Following an injury to his replacement, Christian Walton, Ipswich signed Alex Palmer from West Brom for £2 million.
Muric, who still has three years remaining on his contract, now heads to Italy in search of regular game time. Reports in Italy suggest Sassuolo have an option to make the move permanent for €10 million (£8.7m), though that has not been officially confirmed.
