However, attention has now shifted to Vipotnik, one of the standout performers in the Championship this season. The prolific forward has netted 20 goals so far, putting him firmly in the lead for the Golden Boot — four ahead of his closest rival, Haji Wright.
His impressive tally also eclipses Everton’s current striking options, with Beto and Barry managing a combined 12 league goals between them this campaign.
That said, Everton could face major hurdles in any potential summer move. Competition is fierce, with several clubs — including Newcastle, Aston Villa, Leeds, Brentford, and West Ham — all reportedly tracking the forward.
On top of that, Vipotnik recently signed a new deal with Swansea, strengthening the club’s position in negotiations. As a result, any team looking to secure his services will likely need to pay a significant fee, with previous estimates placing his value around £15 million — a figure that is expected to rise given his current form.
