“Insider Drops Bombshell: West Ham Plot Move for Ipswich Sensation After Eye-Catching Rise!”

West Ham Considering Move for Ipswich Star Omari Hutchinson Amid Kudus Exit Talk

West Ham United are reportedly exploring a move for Ipswich Town winger Omari Hutchinson as a potential replacement for Mohammed Kudus, should the Ghanaian attacker leave the club this summer.

According to Football Insider, the Hammers have been keeping a close eye on Hutchinson, with scouts attending the recent UEFA U21 European Championship where the 21-year-old impressed for England. Hutchinson played a key role in helping the Young Lions lift the trophy, scoring in their 3-2 victory over Germany in the final.

After initially joining Ipswich on loan from Chelsea in the summer of 2023, Hutchinson made the move permanent a year later following the Tractor Boys’ promotion to the Premier League. Despite Ipswich’s relegation after just one top-flight season, the young winger showcased flashes of his talent, finishing the 2024/25 campaign with three goals and two assists in the league.

Here’s a breakdown of Hutchinson’s league stats for Ipswich:

2023/24: 44 appearances (20 starts), 10 goals, 4 assists

2024/25: 31 appearances (30 starts), 3 goals, 2 assists

Former scout Mike Brown, who previously worked with Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers, confirmed West Ham’s growing interest in Hutchinson. Speaking to Football Insider, he said:

> “West Ham have been having a look at Omari Hutchinson. Scouts were watching him for the England Under-21s and I hear they were impressed by what they saw. That tournament has helped reignite interest in him.

“He’s still a bit raw and needs to become more consistent to reach the top level, but there’s no doubt about his talent. If West Ham lose Kudus, they’ll need a replacement – and Hutchinson is being viewed as the ideal fit.

“He has a release clause in his contract at Ipswich, and with the kind of money West Ham could receive from selling Kudus, funding a move for Hutchinson would be no issue.”

Reports from The Telegraph suggest that Tottenham are among the clubs interested in signing Kudus this summer, which could accelerate West Ham’s pursuit of Hutchinson. As revealed in May by Football Insider, Hutchinson’s release clause is believed to be set at £35 million.

With 13 goals and six assists across 75 appearances for Ipswich, Hutchinson has steadily grown into a key attacking threat. His standout performances for England this summer have only strengthened his case for a move, and at just 21 years old with Premier League experience, he could prove to be a smart investment.

Should West Ham lose Kudus, Hutchinson is now firmly on their radar as a dynamic and exciting alternative – one who could flourish under new boss Graham Potter.
