Djiga joined Wolves just six months ago in a £10 million deal from Red Star Belgrade, but he has struggled for game time, making only five appearances. Manager Vitor Pereira relied heavily on experienced players to steer the club clear of relegation last season, which limited opportunities for the Burkina Faso international.
A move to Rangers would offer Djiga the chance to gain regular first-team football in a competitive environment, including the prospect of European fixtures. For Wolves, it’s an opportunity to ensure the 22-year-old develops through consistent minutes at a high level.
