Tottenham’s Longstanding Interest
Tottenham have been monitoring Hackney for some time, particularly during his standout performances with England at the U21 European Championship this summer. At one point, it seemed the 23-year-old was being seriously considered as a long-term midfield option under incoming head coach Thomas Frank.
