Livakovic, who starred in Croatia’s penalty shootout win over Japan at the 2022 World Cup and earned praise from Luka Modric and Ante Budimir for his heroics, kept nine clean sheets in 32 games last season, posting a 66.2% save rate.

Although he has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho in Istanbul, Fenerbahce are reportedly open to letting him leave for the right fee.

Forest see Livakovic as a strong contender to challenge Matz Sels, with Angus Gunn also in the mix as the club prepares for both domestic and European competition.

While Manchester United and Tottenham have shown interest in the past, a move to Forest could offer Livakovic regular minutes and a fresh challenge in England’s top flight.
