Ange Postecoglou endured a rough start to his tenure as Nottingham Forest manager, suffering a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Postecoglou Points to Disruption Ahead of Arsenal Clash
Speaking after the match, Postecoglou cited a turbulent week of preparation as a key factor in Forest’s flat display. With the international break and his sudden appointment limiting training time, he admitted the squad lacked proper readiness.
“It’s been a really disruptive week for the players,” he told BBC Sport. “We’ve only had one training session together, so I tried to keep things as simple as possible.”
“Hopefully now we can start implementing some of the principles we need. The core of the team is still intact, so there’s at least some cohesion and understanding there.”
Speaking to TNT Sports, Postecoglou added:
“It hasn’t been an ideal preparation for the players, and you have to take that into account. Against such a strong opponent, it was simply a bridge too far today.”
