After the game, Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson praised Mitchell’s performance and potential. Speaking to the club website, he said:

Mitchell spoke to the BBC after the match, clearly pleased with his contribution.
“It was a good goal — I can’t complain,” he said. “To be honest, if I’ve been practicing shots, they’ve usually been way off! So I’m just happy this one went in. The important thing is that we’re still unbeaten.”
He also highlighted the team’s preparation and belief under Glasner.
“The manager is intense and knows how good we are — and we know it too. That move was something we worked on last season and again this year. I just made sure I was in the right place after Daichi [Kamada] made the first run.”
Crystal Palace will now face a tough test next weekend when they host league leaders Liverpool at Selhurst Park.
