Jack Butland Reaffirms Rangers Commitment Amid Contract Speculation
Jack Butland has made it clear that he remains fully committed to Rangers, despite having no immediate plans to enter contract talks with the club.
The former Stoke City, Crystal Palace, and Manchester United goalkeeper, who joined Rangers under Michael Beale in 2023, still has around 18 months remaining on his current deal at Ibrox.

“Yeah, of course. I’d like to think people can see that in the way that I am, in the way I approach my time here, and the way I apply myself on and off the pitch — as someone who’s committed to this club.
Like I said, I still have another year after this. The focus is on winning games and no more than that on the weekend.”
Butland reiterated that he joined Rangers with clear ambitions and remains determined to fulfil them.
“For me, I joined here for a reason. I still have that belief and that desire to do that. And with over a year and a half left, there’s really nothing to discuss other than getting my head down and trying to be as good as I can be for this club.”
The 31-year-old has been a standout performer since his arrival, earning praise for his leadership and consistency as Danny Rohl looks to rebuild momentum within the squad.
