Crystal Palace defender Daniel Muñoz has revealed that Manchester United are among his “dream clubs.”
Currently on international duty with Colombia as they prepare for friendly matches against New Zealand and Australia, the right-back addressed recent rumours about a possible move away from Selhurst Park.
Speaking to AS Colombia, the 29-year-old responded to transfer speculation and openly admitted that Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are all clubs he dreams of representing.
Muñoz has been Crystal Palace’s first-choice right-back since joining from KRC Genk in January 2024. The FA Cup champions handed him a new contract in April, keeping him tied to the club until 2028 with an option for an additional year.
His strong performances have naturally attracted interest. Earlier this week, reports in Colombia suggested that Chelsea, Barcelona, and PSG had already made contact with his representatives, while Manchester City were also reportedly monitoring him.
Notably, there was no mention of Real Madrid or Manchester United—yet Muñoz insists he is working hard to make a dream move possible.
“There’s been a lot of talk about different clubs,” he said.
“If you ask me, it would be a dream to play for teams like Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United.
I work every day with the hope of eventually catching the attention of one of these clubs.”
Despite the speculation, Muñoz says his current priority is Crystal Palace, though he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a January transfer.
“I don’t have any concrete information about interest from these clubs,” he added.
“My focus is on Crystal Palace for now. We’ll see what happens when the winter window gets closer.”
