Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry has suffered a knee injury while on loan at Bolton Wanderers.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form in League One with Steven Schumacher’s side but was forced off the pitch during Bolton’s 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient last Saturday. Subsequent scans revealed damage to a knee ligament, potentially sidelining him for up to two months.
“He has got a lateral ligament tear,” Bolton manager Schumacher confirmed. “He is likely to be out for eight to ten weeks, which is obviously disappointing news. We’ve had him scanned, but we’ll seek opinions from specialists and coordinate with Brighton.”
Cozier-Duberry has featured in 28 League One matches this season, contributing six goals and nine assists. Bolton currently sit third in the league and are next in action tonight as they host Burton Albion at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The England under-20 international joined Brighton in 2024 on a free transfer after progressing through Arsenal’s youth system. He has yet to make his first-team debut for the Seagulls.
