Bad News; David Moyes confirmed HUGE injury blow

Speaking ahead of Everton’s away fixture against Brighton, Moyes explained that surgery is the most likely outcome, even if it has not yet been fully confirmed.

He admitted the situation is deeply frustrating for both the player and the club, stressing how influential Grealish has been since his arrival.

Moyes described him as a major presence in the squad, highlighting his experience, personality and the positive impact he has had on the team’s performances.

With Grealish potentially unavailable until next season, Everton may now be forced to explore options in the transfer market before the January deadline.

Moyes acknowledged that the club is actively monitoring the situation, but admitted that finding a suitable replacement at this stage of the season will not be straightforward.

The Everton boss noted that while players can be signed in January, the window has proven difficult for many clubs, making late deals increasingly challenging.

As a result, he suggested that while the club remains open to bringing in reinforcements, a new signing before the deadline is far from guaranteed.
