Slot said this performance was no coincidence, highlighting it as evidence that Ngumoha has “developed and become a better player.”
Slot also noted the need to manage Ngumoha’s minutes carefully, warning that over-reliance on a young player could hinder his long-term growth. Nonetheless, the youngster has impressed off the bench, particularly in the absence of Alexander Isak, and has made a strong case for more playing time with his impactful contributions.
