His recent performances have not gone unnoticed. Netherlands head coach Ronald Koeman revealed that Summerville is being seriously considered for the national team ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

“Of course, he’s a player we’re considering.
The competition in attack is a bit lighter, and he plays in the Premier League, where he’s an important player for West Ham. He can operate on both the right and left wing.
“That versatility is something we value. He’s a very intelligent player in possession, and he works with great intensity both offensively and defensively.”
Leeds Could Earn Additional Millions
A potential international call-up would not only be a huge milestone for Summerville personally — it could also bring financial benefits for Leeds United.
When the club sold the winger, they reportedly inserted a clause that would reward them financially if he made a senior appearance for the Netherlands national team. Should the 25-year-old earn his debut, Leeds could receive up to £4 million through that agreement.
If triggered, the clause would push the overall value of Summerville’s transfer close to £30 million, representing excellent business for the club’s owners, the 49ers Enterprises.
